It rained all weekend without respite. We decided the weather was perfect for building an excellent fort. And baking bread.
If you look closely you can see the evidence of Aunt Jo Jo and Uncle Steve's visit yesterday to deliver tattoos, hair glitter (it's rubbed out...presumably all over the girls' bedsheets) and to paint Kate and Sarah's nails.
Ah, bread, fresh from the oven. Life is good.

Those pictures brought back memories of making tents when I was kid-YES, I was a kid!
Your bread looks divine!!
You make bread, bread, bread ... is that why you're soooo happy? Huh? Sweetheart?
Mom, if you have photographic evidence of your fort-building or even your childhood (did they have cameras back then?) please share. I have a scanner...
Kevin, I don't know. And I don't care! I aint no freakin' monument to justice!
omgsh!!!! i would've LOVE that fort!!! couch forts were the best (and snow forts of course :)i wasn't hungry, but the pix of your bread r changing my mind! lol
@ Sister K - I love snow forts, too, but alas, we don't get to build them here in the ATL. I must say, those were my first attempt at hamburger buns and they stood up impressively with Jeremiah's flawlessly grilled burgers.
We are an awesome team. Let's hear for my meat and your buns!
