Accessorizing
The shed, except for some finishing touches, is complete at last! Here are some before and after photos. The rain spout is crazy-long like that because we're planning to put a rain barrel there, just as soon as we've acquired one. Also, although it's still clearly on the patio, the grill will go on that little covered porch area. That area was built for that specific purpose. Someday there will be a lovely little flagstone patio off the grilling area, made of all the rocks I've been digging up in my yard.

Looks great! Your storage shed looks like a rental cabin by a lake--all you need are a couple of rocking chairs and a "for rent" sign! It would help pay for all that work.

I'm glad you think that, mom...we're making some adjustments to our guest accommodations and we were worried you wouldn't approve...

It's not a good quality (youtube had nothing) but sometimes I think I might be the only one who loves this early Will Ferrell skit.
Well, Brooklyn, you'll notice in these pictures - not one kid on the shed. We've taken a lot of parenting cues from Will Farrell.
Will Ferrell has taught me the important lesson of paying your rent on time.
