To all you knitters out there...

What would I have to pay you to make me a tank top like this? I want one! I took this stalker-like photo while she was enjoying a pleasant morning with her cute son, feeding the ducks at the park and had no idea I was even standing behind her. I couldn't get a shot of the front without getting in the water. I thought that might not be very discreet.
Anyway, send me your bid! I love it! It doesn't have to be all those colors. I'd settle for a delicious shade of dark brown, or a pale, pale pink...or maybe both together...

I believe that what you need is a crocheter. I will have to get back to you with a bid but I need more information. E.G., cotton or linen or silk or a mix?

I like all of those separately and as a group. Also, unless Jeremiah has his way, I would never be wearing it without something on underneath, so how it feels to the touch is less important than, say, which yarn is easier to work with.

That shirt the kid is wearing is FABULOUS! If anybody wants to knit me one of those, well, I just don't KNOW what!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, you act all tough but I know if someone knitted you a long, stripy Washington Nationals toboggan you'd sit down on the floor and cry like a little girl you big, gay homosexual.

Honestly; I can't believe that you didn't just ask her where she got it from (I've done that before, asked someone where they bought a particular item!)

She could have made it herself, she probably has a shop, and makes these all the time - :) More imporatantly, she could possibly have made one for you...

Anyway, the search goes on...

I have a lovely linen/merino mix that would be nice and has the added benefit of being machine washable. Go to theskein.com and go to Louet Merlin Avalon and pick a color or colors you like and let me know. It also comes in a pale pink, pale blue and pale green.
Also, can you email me the photo in as high a resolution as possible so I can blow it up?

You could also have just walked up to her and said, "Give me the hippie tank or I'll put a bullet in you." I've done that before! At Burning Man, 2002. I got a giant paper mâché Thomas Jefferson head and a nekkid lady lighter.
