Here's Kate's shiner on Day 2. This is a testament to how well ibuprofen brings down swelling, because this little kid's eye was swollen clean shut when she woke up. I knew I should've taken the picture then! As you can see, she's handling the injury well. In this photo, she's mid-sentence in her little "I love oatmeal" song she was tooting extemporaneously with her mouth full. Speaking of tooting, I must say, I do make a mean batch of oatmeal.

You Should See the Other Guy
