Here Kate is in her black velvet dress with the sparkly tights and red sparkly shoes. This is the dress Aunt Jo Jo bought for her on Monday when they hung out together while daycare was closed. It is also the dress she already had because her daddy was convinced by her pleading to buy it for her. Aunt Jo Jo said to Kate "do you already have this dress?" and Kate said no. She already had that dress. This morning she insisted she wear it and she insisted on "princess hair". 
While dressing her royal highness, repeatedly inserting a barrette into Sarah's hair (she won), and feeding the girls oatmeal, I was called upon to bring some Parliament in for breakfast music. Just as I was really beginning to wonder how my first born turned out to be a princess, Kate said to me "Mommy, we want the funk!"

I've always thought one should have two of one's favorite outfit. After all you never know what may happen in the life of a princess? You might need a spare.
Warning: Wearing princess hair may make you fall in love with yourself.
Oh! But isn't she adorable in that dress. No wonder she wanted to. The princess hair is pretty impressive too.
Definitely keep two of your favorite dresses.
